Golden Eagles and Our Savior

The Golden Eagle that is famous in the Western Region of North America, is known as the King of Birds. They nest on the side of cliffs. Once the chicks become of age, they teach them how to fly. But, how do they teach them? The only way to. They push them off the side of cliffs and they let them plummet to their death. As they are plummeting to their death, their father flies underneath them and teaches them to spread their wings and shows them how to fly.

Our Savior is much the same. He pushes us out of the nest and out of our safety zone to teach us. It's either a tecahing moment, or a learning moment. Once we are plummeting to the point to where we can't take it, He  flies underneath us to show us to fly. He won't let us fall to our death, because He is underneath us and will show us the way. He will never leave us because He loves us so. Just as the father eagle lets them learn to fly, our Savior, our King of Kings will let us learn how to fly.

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it."-unknown
